Emma has been a professional make-up artist for 7 years. Graduating in Media & Theatrical make-up, Emma started her career in the photo-makeover industry working at two studios in Greater Manchester, at the same time working with BBC North and Walker Turnbull Television.
In 1996 after moving to Surrey, Emma immediately started building relations in the bridal and photographic industry. She was recommended to teach at Amersham & Wycombe College and in 1997 started teaching Cosmetic and Media & Theatrical Make-up. After gaining her assessor awards Emma became a regional demonstrator for Treasure House of Make-up, now a Supplier of Ben Nye, Graftobian and Mehron products. In 1999, Treasure House opened a Studio in Surrey Quays in East London where Emma taught short courses to the general public and VTCT Diploma's to potential make-up artists. In recent years Emma has joined the team of make-up artists at Covent Gardens' Theatre Museum, demonstrating Stage make-up, and since 2000 has contributed regularly to Surrey Police ID Parades.
Emma now divides her time teaching on VTCT Diploma and EdExcel HNC programmes at Barnet College and being involved in many editorial and promotional contracts such as Dolland & Aitchinson, Daily Mail, Digital Photo Magazine, Elegant Style Magazine, 'Girl About Town' Magazine, Swatch Watch, Megastar, New Woman Magazine, The Cosmopolitan Show and The Clothes Show.  Click here to see other clients.
